"Of course! You're one of my closest friends." He smiled, resting his head on the ground next to hers. He didn't realize what she really meant, being his oblivious self.

With a slight purr she licked the top of his snout some before settling back down and looking him in the eye. "Can I ask you something?"

He beamed, taking the affection as a sign that she was getting better. "Of course!"

"D-do you like me? Like more than friends?"

He blinked, surprised. "You? Gin? I- I don't know." He had never thought about it, but now he was.

"Oh...I-I'm sorry..." She said clearly embarrassed that she had brought it up when he hadn't...it made her look desperate!

"No, it's... fine." His body returned to normal after it's tense state. "It was just a question, it's okay."

It was a pleasant day to say the least...lazily he floated along the air current sighing. He was bored, so so bored! Why did life as bachelor have to be so lame?

"Easy for you to say, you weren't the one laying your feelings out for all to see." She said standing and stepping over him. How could she be so stupid!

He watched her leave, still in shock. He got up to follow, then thought against it and sighed, curling up in an icy ball on the floor.
