"Hey, Rome wasn't built in a day." She says, still searching the bookshelf, with Maru holding a picture book in its mouth.

I shrug. A random cookbook is now gravitating over my head.

"Zaoshang hao...." I say, yawning when I go to the common room. "Why can't my powers be useful?!? Why couldn't I get the green one?" I mutter after that, patting at my overly frizzy red hair, which flattens under my touch.

"Hey, speaking every known language is a great power. Just think of all the people you could insult without them knowing."

Serenity walked into the common room. "If you think whatever pill you got was bad, the yellow one keeps me in a state of happiness, which doesn't sound bad, but it's driving me insane, except I can't- wait, the power of persuasion... hey, want to see if I can manage to get you a green pill? or maybe try to convince them to let us leave" Serenity began to wonder.

(they're making anti pills to remove powers of previous ones. Maybe Anahita and Lily could switch)



"Do it..." This could be cool.

"Okay, Maru. I'll read to you." Anahita sighed, grabbing the book from the squirrels mouth

I noticed a lot of people had pets. Then I heard something that made my heart soar. I opened a window to see a man in a lab coat with a Tyto Alba, my barn owl, sitting on his arm. With a triumphant series of clicks and trills, he landed on my arm, which still had the leather brace on it. I ran two fingers down his head, gently preening. Then he curled his wings and launched up to perch on the long light hanging from the ceiling, head shielded by one wing.

(What would happen if someone ate... all the pills...?)

"Yeah, okay, so I'll try to get you a green pill, now let me think of what kind of pill I might want..." Serenity thought for a few moments "Maybe blue or purple... or why stop there, why not all of them!" Serenity said, feeling a more natural excitement
