Dane was led into Arianna's design room. She was standing there with her hair being done up in metals and opals. Dane blushed a bit as she waved at him. "Hey," he said shyly.
"What's up? she asked.
"Nothing, I'm ready to ride the chariots though," he said softly.
She smiled at him. She walked out of the room ready for the chariots.
They both hopped on the chariots, Arianna admiring the pure white horses. Dane hopped on and took her hand. He gave it a reassuring squeeze as they lurched forwards.
"I have an idea, just don't be awkward about it." Arianna whispered in his ear.
As they moved they got to the part that seated the richest people. She stood on her toes and kissed his cheek. He blushed a bit. but they held hands the whole time. The kiss made the crowd go wild. She giggled and he smiled. They got to the end and they hopped off. She remembered the button and pushed it. Pure opal wings shot out of her dress and she laughed. She suspected people really liked District 2.
