Smiling playfully, Belladonna replied, "Yeah, well I got into a little trouble and had to lay low for a little while." She immediately threw her head back and laughed at herself, then asked, "So, what's up, Annie? Princess duties gotcha down? I can't relate, but I sure can make ya feel better!" Belladonna recalled on the first time they had met for a second, and a soft ghost of a smile wavered on her lips.

"Oh... Well that makes a lot of sense. You know I've told you before, you can come and stay at the castle. It would be safer and a much better living environment and daddy wouldn't say no, he loves me to much." She said giggling slightly at her last comment. She stood up and helped Belladonna up, "Anyway, it wasn't princess duties... You know I don't have any of that, I'm too young." Annie's eyes lit up as she spotted a nice sweet shop just down the road and she practically dragged Belladonna along behind her.

Belladonna rolled her eyes and let herself get dragged along to the sweet shop, and they both picked out a large variety of sweet treats to share. After that, they began wandering the town as one does when one's mind wonders. "I know, but the life of luxury isn't for me, Annie." As she said this, she threw her bag of sweets into a tree and quickly climbed up it, laying back lazily. "Living the life of a misfit, ya know?" She looked down a little as she added to herself, "Just following the family business..."

"But... Buttons!" She complained stroppily "If you lived in the castle with me... We could have sleepovers EVERY day." Annie hopped up onto the tree beside Belladonna and snatched up some of her sweets laughing as Buttons gave her the stink eye.

"As fun as that sounds, I'll have to pass." She leant her head back and threw a lemon drop into the air and caught it in her mouth, earning a quiet but playful "Show off!" from Annie. "But we could also have sleepovers AND adventures every day, you know...but you won't want to." She quickly changed the subject and continued to munch on her sweet treats.

"You're such a show off Buttons! Besides I can do that too!" Andromeda easily tossed a peardrop into the air and caught it in her mouth. She turned to Belladonna and spat the slimy sweet onto her cheek, it stuck to Belladonna's fur, a shining patch of saliva around it. Annie giggled slightly, "That's for being a meanie!"

Belladonna groaned in disgust and began frantically wiping at her cheek. "Argh, are you kidding me, Annie? Cmooon!" Which earned her hysteric laughter from her friend. "God, I should just take all of your sweets and hide them where you'll never find them! And I will, so don't try me!" Belladonna threatened light heartedly, jumping down from the tree. "It's gonna get dark and cold soon, so come on." Her voice turned to a teasing one, yet it seemed slightly sad. "Your father's gonna be so worried about you!"

Annie stared at Buttons in horror, "You wouldn't dare." She glared at Buttons, "Those sweets are my pride and joy and I won't let you take them!" She hopped down from the tree and slunk away into the shadows, hissing at Buttons.

Belladonna looked at her in confusion. "Did...did you just hiss at me?" She asked, clearly dumbfounded.

In order to get her point across Annie hissed again, her shoulder's slumped and her hind legs barely visible in the shadows. "That's what happens when people like you threaten my candy!" She snarls jokingly.
