"This world is so fascinating. You could never find treasure in Kalos. Odd. I don't even think we're in Kalos anymore." Luke said gruffly.
"I gotta admit. It's much prettier here. We'd better hurry if we want to find the Guildmaster by dark. The town is just up in that clearing!" Lila said, pointing into the trees.
"Maybe they like hugs! Oh! I hope they do!" Joey's caretaker cried.
"I'm hungry Mama." Joey said, burying his small face into the Absol's fur.
The group stepped through the trees, and gasped in awe.
Houses lined the dirt streets. They passed multiple buildings, some businesses, some houses. They walked past a Ursaring and a Krookadile who were talking.
"Joe, for the last time, Tamato berries are spicy" the Ursaring said in an exhasperated tone.
"I-It's so SPICY!!!" the other cried, fanning its mouth.
A group of Pichu wearing black and white Zebstrika-striped bandanas were pointing over at a small house and chattering amongst themselves.
"I heard the Guildmaster lives there!" squeaked the first.
"He's so cool!" said the second.
"You've never even met him!"
"Well, I heard he's cool!" the other retorted.
The group walked pass them and toward the house at the end of the lane. Luke walked up to the front door and knocked.
"Hello, anyone home?" he growled.

"Well, your not going to get an answer knocking on the tree trunk," a Pikipek laughed. "Only real way is to go inside and down the ladder. Name's Flit, by the way," She preened herself quickly.

"WHAT'RE YOU LAUGHING AT BIRD?!!!" Luke growled hotheadedly.
"Sorry, that's my mate, Luke. He can be rude sometimes. My name's Lila, that's our son Joey, and that there is Tina, Joey's caretaker." Lila said.

"It's ok. Nice to meet you. So, You want to see Wave then? Just follow my lead," she said, going into a large crack in the tree that started at the ground and went a up to about the size of a Charizard. She then dove down a hole with a ladder. "Coming?"

Hummer saw Flit and flew over. "Hi hi hi how've you been you missed all the fun new recruits and--"
"I introduced most of them, so we're aquainted," Flit said cutting her off. "And we got four more following me,"
Hummer squealed in delight. "See you at dinner!" She said flying off.

The group followed the small Pikipek into Wave, the Guildmaster's home.

(Actually, new pupils stay within the guild for a while. While Wave and Nettle are the only full time residents, it's not their house, but certainly a home)

"Hello Flit," Wave said, dipping her head. She examined the other four with her, an Absol, a Mightyana, an Espurr, and a Beware. "And I welcome you four. Flit, why don't you join the others?" Flit nodded and went upstairs. "Now," Wave said. "Where are you from?"

"Uh... It's sort of hard to explain..." Luke said.

"Understandable. Travelers from a distant land then?"

"You could say that..." Tina said awkwardly.

Wave looked at them for what seemed like a long time. "Ok then, we'll your welcome to stay as long as you like. There are some open droms on the 3rd and 4th floor, food on the 2nd," she said kindly.
