She became a black panther stalking out of the cave,"I'm going hunting, will you eat fish?"

Caiwyn shook his head no. "I don't, but I can go out with you to gather berries and any other edible plants. I'm smarter than I seem and have a pretty good idea of which plants are poisonous and which aren't.

"Alright," she said as she lead him to a stream and stayed poised for a fish.

Caiwyn shifted into a human and searched around tree roots, picking out some large mushrooms after carefully inspecting them and some clover-like weeds with heart shaped leaves.

All of a sudden her paw whipped into the water as she felt something slick and closed her claws around it flipping it out of the water before killing it. She quickly got back into position.

Caiwyn turned his head for a second but then shuddered at the sight of the dead fish and went back to mushroom picking.

She caught a couple more fish before saying,"Come on let's get back," she said as she carried the fish.

He picked up the pile of mushrooms he had collected and hurried to follow Sierra back to the cave.

She walked in and dropped her fish in a pile.

"Umm.. Sierra?" Caiwyn began. "do you have any pots or pans or anything fireproof that I could cook these mushrooms in?"
