"Everyone else seems to think the opposite." Veshch said pulling the skin from the rabbit like creature. "You two are the first to not run away when I spoke to them." He took a bit of his kill and swallowed it without chewing. Blood dripped from his muzzle and he hurried to wipe it away.

Storm
I naturally increased my speed as I exerted more power to climb. I knew at this speed I would be invisible against the snow, but Lucent could smell me from above so he could still follow. It isn't long before I lead him to the mouth of the cave where I wait for him to land. It is much warmer in here, and sheltered from the snowfalls.

"Fetch? I love fetch!" Doggo barked as he ran in circles. He had never played the game before but it seemed like fun. Chasing things and bringing them back to chase again! "Boy oh boy!" His tail wagged happily behind him as he waited for her to throw the branch.

Lucent



While flying above her, i follow her scent to the mouth of the cave, landing in front of her "Yeah, i don't think any of the other wolves can reach up here without difficulty, thank you Storm."

Tumble
I swoop down on my big, snow white wings, throwing the branch over to the nearby hill. I was careful to throw it in an area with gentle terrain, I did not want Doggo getting hurt. The branch falls on the powdery slope, clearly visible as the dark wood stands out against the white of the snow. I land back where I was standing, giggling at Doggo's way of viewing things.

Storm
"No problem." I said, and begin to clean my coat. "But I can't help but worry about Tumble, I wonder where she went... Oh well, I guess it is part of parenting to let a child learn a bit of danger on their own." I sigh, and rub my cheek up against some wood stored in the wall. The static energy from my fur sparks the flame and it provides both warmth and light, much like a torch. Sitting down my Lucent, I continue to groom myself, beginning with my front paws.

Lucent


I entered the cave, the seeming blue-ish glow returning until she lit the fire, which i went over and sat next to. "Sadly, no matter how much i have learned through my path, i am not a parent, but that seems like the logical way to think."

Twister paused in her meal, listening before tilting her head to the side as she continued to eat her fish, filling her stomach up. "I see... I been here at the lake for two months....been alone for a month since my mama was killed by a larger creature..." She mewed softly, lowering her head to lick her front paws clean. "It been lonely here at the lake..."

Howlite
"Does it offend you when people run away?" Howlite asked the horse like thing. He took a few more bites of his fish. Howlite turned to the tree and sneezed. "Scuze me."

Storm
I chuckle, shaking my head and looking up at him.
"You can't be a parent without a child, whether you adopt one, your loved one has it, or you gain it by partnership." I say. "Without a child you are simply an adult." I add, "But tell me, what have you been doing for all these years? Surely there is more to it than wandering as a lonesome heart."
