He smelled another presence as he followed the creatures in the tunnel, but decided to ignore it.

Crystal spotted something in the flowers. She looked up water dripping from her beak. She narrowed her eyes and spotted orange eyes staring at her. She was about to tell the others when she heard a thud. She whirled around and saw a young lupora and a young Ny'vene jump through the passage they had just gone through. Crystal let out a lion like roar mixed with an eagle like screech and ran at them throwing up her wings. "Who are you and how did you get past my thorn barrier it was impossible for you to see through!" she yelled stopping in front of them and snarling a little.

(It's a Lighira)

Blaze glared at the Griffi and he started losing his temper, the fire alighted on his back, and, in seconds, he was a blazing inferno.

Splash saw what was happening Oh no not again! she thought as she desperately looked for water to cool him down with.

Crystal smirked " I think you need to cool down." she sneered as she commanded a waterfall of rain to pour over the fiery sylesti. She then commanded a bunch of thick and twisted roots to grow around him, creating a sort of jail cell. "I will stop when you're calm." she growled to the Lighira

He hissed at the Griffi trying to escape his prison. Flames licked at the plants as they ignited again.

Slash yelled, "Don't do that! The whole cave will come alight!" she said before scurrying over to help him out of the plant's hold.

Crystal looked at the Ny'vene "Then answer my question." She said dousing the Lighira with water again "How did you get past my thorn barrier it was impossible to see inside."

She sighed. "We saw you come in before you put up that thorn barrier and Blaze over there burned it down, but don't worry I put it up again afterwards," she said.

What was that creature doing to the smaller ones? Was she hurting them? Dax snorted with anger, not pleased that the others had just wandered into her home, destroyed it in a beautiful way, and hurt tiny creatures. She growled and jumped from her hiding spot charging at the Griffi. She bared her tiny fangs and bite into the griffi's back leg though she was not able to do much damage.

Splash turned and spotted a tiny Ryori charge at the Griffi biting its leg. She scurried over to the Ryori and stood protectively in front of it.

Crystal roared angrily the bite stung but it didn't hurt that bad. She whirled around and glared at the Ryori and the Ny'vene. some how seeing their bravery she began to realize what she was doing. Why am i attacking them? especially since they're so small... she thought backing up a step. She stared at the Ryori who was looking angrily at her, it reminded her of herself. Suddenly images started to flood into Crystal's mind. Images that she hoped she had forgotten. She saw herself as a small hatchling watching as syletis which seemed huge to her at the time. Burst into her home. Her mother and Father had tried to fight them but had ended up being stabbed through with spears from the first wave. Her brother had pushed her behind him and begun to fight some Draeyles with long knives. Crystal had run to her parents, She was shaking them trying and begging them to wake up, the last thing they said was "we love you." Crystal had cried and shook them some more covering herself with blood. She ran back to her brother but found him dead with long gashes on his neck which were oozing blood. She had gotten mad then and had ran to one of the Draeyls and bit his leg. He had yelled and smashed her to the wall. She heard a leg bone crunch and crumpled to the floor. The last thing she had heard was "That will teach those stupid nature children." and then she had lost conciousness. Crystal snapped back to reality Her head was throbbing. "I.. I'm sorry." She said and stopped the rain and ordered the roots to go away "I... I should go." she said then turned and jumped out of the cave. She sprinted out into the light and jumped off the floating island. Only later when she arrived at her own island did she realize that the thorn barrier had disapeared.

(could i make another character it would help explain Crystals actions.)
