"Oh. If I'm near you I could make you care." Wyw offered.

"Ah, thank you but I'll pass on that. It was incredibly stressful," Loki replied flatly.

"That was just because you were feeling my feelings. Usually its not like that. Unless I want it to be." Wyw explained

"It was stressful having my own feelings as well," he replied, "I like it better this way."

"I do too." Wyw replied. She stared into the trees. "What. Is. That?" She asked after a minute. She was staring at a brightly coloured bird who had just flown out of the woods and landed fairly close.

"Hmm? Oh. That's a bird," Loki replied as he looked over at the bird. "Rather bright one too. Most birds are dull in color. Harmless creature. No need to worry about it."

Wyw remained quiet until they reached the edge of the woods. "Loki, where will we go after the woods?"

Loki fell quiet, thinking for a long moment. "I don't know. They'll probably be looking for us, so as far away as possible," he muttered, looking into the trees almost bitterly. "I don't think we'll be able to stay in one place for very long."

Wyw shook her head sadly. A white butterfly fluttered padst her nose, she looked up, forgetting Loki, and wandered after it. It lead her to a large river. Then it landed on a nearby rock. Wyw grabbed it and ate it. She sat on the rock staring at the river, a battered wing sticking out of her mouth.

Loki watched her walk away and sighed, looking around. He started to sniff around, digging up a few roots, plants, and picking some berries. He mashed them together and carried them over to her. "Here. Eat this."
