Susan looked around, completely bug eyed. The plane crash must have been worse then she suspected. She turned to Thomas with a slight frown and her eyebrows knitted together and asked one question that she knew everyone was dreading to ask. "Do you think the pilot is still alive?"

Thomas stiffened. Now, the pilot sat in the front of the plane. And as far as he could tell, the front of the plane had taken a lot of impact. Which left little chance of the pilot surviving. "I'm not sure..." He said. "I don't know." He admitted.

Susan looked at Thomas trying to concentrate away from the disaster that was around her. "do you think it's worth our time to check?" She asked leaving the decision completely up to him. She didn't know if time was really precious right now because they weren't going anywhere but shelter would be nice before nightfall.

Thomas sighed again. "It might be worth our time, or it may not. Who knows?" He confirmed. He wasn't a fortune teller or anything! He didn't know the answers. "I think we should get back to looking for Hershey." He suggested quickly. Weren't they here to look for that kitten in the first place?

Susan nodded and began calling for her kitten. She didn't know if her cat was free or not. She climbed over rubble and walked down the aisle till she reached a door at the end of the plane that leads down to were all the animals are held. She tugged at the door but it wouldn't budge. With a cry of anger she turned around and looked at Thomas. "Please help. "

Thomas shrugged a yes. He grabbed the door handle and pulled. It wouldn't budge. He used both hands and pulled hard. It still wouldn't move. Then he saw why. It said 'Push'. He smiled and pushed the door. He heard a click and it swung open, leading to the cargo hold. "There." He said, motioning to the darkness. "Bit dark in there, don't you think?" He asked, stepping in slowly.

Susan's jaw dropped and she tried to suppress a giggle. She was slightly embarrassed because she didn't take the time to read the door. Dropping her head lightly in her hands and nodded her head. Picking her head out of her hands she tried to look serious. "Of course we go! Hershey is all I hve left besides my brother. She said and took a step inside the door.

"Don't trip." Thomas warmed. It was hard to see the things on the ground and he didn't want Susan to fall. How were they supposed to find a tiny kitten in the mess? Hopefully they could. He really didn't want to let Susan down. She was nice. A little stubborn... And cute. He shook his head. "Hershey?" He called out and ran into the cargo hold.

Susan could hear a small meow but couldn't tell if It was her kitten or someone else's. She stopped moving and just focused on listening, it sounded like it was coming from father in and maybe all the way towards the back. "Kitty kitty kitty!" She called hoping to get the cats attention. "Do you think we can get bck there?" She asked with worry in her voice.

Thomas thought for a moment. "I think so." He said and then grabbed out to bump his hand into a suitcase. "Though I suspect that there will be a lot of suitcases in our way." He added and felt for the handle of the suitcase to pull it out of their way. He found it and tugged. He grabbed with both hands and jerked it which moved it. "Come on. Let's go." He said and started walking forward.
