Douglas walks in, "We don't know who your crew is so we can't indentify them and Yannis was injured."
Selkie struggles to get to his feet, "Then I have to go find them it's my duty."

Kaladin placed a hand on his shoulder. "I could do it. Do you have descriptions of any of them?" He offered.

Selkie whinces, "A walrus with one missing tusk named Nathanal, a cockerspanial who only speaks Spanish who is the navagator, " Selkie rattles off a few more descriptions his voice growing weaker the more he speaks.
"Lie down Selkie," Douglas directs him.
Selkie does so.

Kaladin wrote down the descriptions on a long strip of parchment with a quill as he listened.

"and Mathias is a long whiskered mouse," Selkie finishes as his breath is barely a whisper, "What about Seaweed?"

"I think I saw him leave pretty much unscathed." Kaladin replied, rolling up the list.

(Do I see a Redwall reference?)

(You know about Redwall? and Yes.)

"That's good," A few seconds later Selkie is snoring soundly.
"Don't blame him for being tired," Douglas spoke, "I didn't think he would wake up for a few more days."

(I read the full series within a few months a couple years back. My favorites are Rakkiti-Tam, Eulelia!, and the OG. My least favorite was Pearls of Lutra.)

Kaladin sighed. "I'm not surprised, really." He replied.

(I'm on the first book but have seen the first season in the series.)

Kai walks in, He woke up?

(You know, I actually forgot the first book had a TV series...
But the book is better.)

Kaladin glanced over at her and nodded once. "You just missed it."
