There's no syleties in sight, it seems the the egg was abandoned.
As you tumble down the hill, the egg flies out of your arms and hits a rock. It shatters on impact. You manage to stop rolling and look at the broken egg in dismay.
Suddenly, a fuzzy, almost perfectly white head pops up from behind the rock.
The hatchling is okay! It stares at you with it's large eyes and carefully approaches.
What will you do?

You reach Aura and gently pat the side of his head. He stirs and opens one eye to look at you. Then he lets out a large grunt and falls back asleep.
Aura's grunt catches the attention of an entity outside. They enter the tent.
"Oh! You've awakened!"
You stare at her in shock. You'd never encountered anyone like her before.
"There's no need to be scared of me! You would've had a nasty fall if I hadn't spotted you flailing about in the river."
What will you do?

She sniffs your hand cautiously. Then she rubs her head on your hand. Her tiny horns scratch the palm of your hand, but the sylesti is so cute that you hardly notice.

I smile at her, scooping her up in my arms and trudging back up the hill which I previously fell down.

That's strange, the hill is different than before. It's steeper, almost like a cliff face. Something strange is going on in this world, but you aren't sure what it is.
You could try to climb the hill, but there's a narrow path to your right.
Cautiosly I pat Aura's side again and lean down towards him, not really entirely sure what to do in this situation.
"Thank you so much for saving me! I wasn't quite sure what to do back there..."

I frown at the strange change in the hill. Not wanting to experience another fall that could end up worse than the last one, I decide to take the narrow path. So shifting Angel (luffox) to a more comfortable position, I walk down the path.

You look at your options.
The brick path doesn't seem to end. The muddy path is just, well, muddy. The path of broken stone looks kinda dangerous. The dirt path is the only nice looking path.
You walk down the dirt path, keeping an eye on the path and your surroundings. Suddenly, you trip. You glance over your shoulder to look at what you tripped on. It was a rock. You don't remember there being a rock there before.
You look through the treetops and realize it's nighttime. The weird thing is, it was daytime when you started down the path.
There's footsteps coming from behind you. What will you do?
