There's a small village very close nearby. It's been built around an oasis, and it's the only place with any shade he can see.

It's instantly obvious they're in BC times. The tools the humans are using are primitive, not stone-age primitive but definitely very early. The houses are made of stone as well, and there's only maybe 30 people living here in total.

There's about 10 houses in total. Oddly, through what feels like instinct, he knows which one is his. Or, more accurately, which one is Inyosi's.
