Kaladin hesitated, tying off the bandage. "R-right." He muttered before doing so.

Douglas gently got Selkie on his back, "The only reason I'm doing this is because I want to check for internal bleeding." Douglas used the ping test along Selkie's gut.
(If you have ever seen Dr Pol dealing with cattle you know what I'm talking about when I say ping test.)

(The first question that comes to my mind is "Who's Dr. Pol?")

Kaladin watched, though was slightly puzzled at the procedure. "How do you find that out?"

(It's a tv show my mom is crazy about Dr. Pol is a veterarian who works with all species of animal.)(Ping test checks for a displaced abdomasium and what Douglas is trying to do is listen for anything not right.)

Douglas listens for anything that sounds out of the ordinary then hears it, "He's bleeding interinally." Douglas got out a scalpal and cut when Selkie was bleeding. Getting the small jar that contained medical foam he places it in the opened intestin.

Kaladin willed himself to watch, though he was aware of how petrified he probably appeared.

Douglas speaks, "Kaladin I need you to stop the bleeding and stitch him up while I watch his pulse."

Kaladin snapped back into reality. "Yes, yes. Of course." He muttered, setting to work.

Haken shot Douglas a brief look. Not quite a glare, but there was steel in his gaze.

Douglas met Haken's eyes, "Kaladin is capable of saving his friend."

Kaladin paused, then glanced over at his father. "Baba, ungakhubeki ngaye. Ngiphilile." He spoke. "Really I am."

Haken sighed. "...Alright."

Douglas kept a moniter on Selkie's pulse.

After a few seconds the bleeding was stopped by the foam.
