Almon nodded. "I am properly terrified. That's quite a suspenseful statement." Which was true, the thought of just being taken away did not sound like fun. However if he dwelt on it for too long he was going to drive himself insane.

Astra grinned. "At this rate Nic's going to be broken forever. I guess I'm going to have to thank whoever got me into this mess." She thought for a second. "Okay I'll thank them, and then I'll have to think of a proper way to punish them.

Jack shrugged. "Well, it's not something you want to witness. Trust me."

Victoria was just flat out terrified at this point

Almon nodded, trying to be serious. "I'll take your word for it. I'm not really a fan of witnessing deaths. They seem gruesome also if you think about it quite terrifying." Of course he knew that first hand. He'd seen plenty of deaths but by the way Jack said it, he was pretty sure that whatever Jack had seen had been way worse.

"They don't die. They get dragged away, into the lab," he said.

"A big place with books where humans refuse to speak to one another." he replied simply,honestly not to hungry now that he'd had blood.

Riley laughs, "Yeah, that's one way to think of it. I like books. Especially fantasy books. Because it's some kind of escape. If it is possible to be addicted to fantasy books, I might be. Except I can live without them. So maybe not." Riley shrugs and decides to just sit down, not really wanting to eat even though he was positive he needed to eat something. His stomach was growling at him, but Riley ignores it. He wasn't going to eat that. He didn't want to. So he wouldn't.

Shade lowered to a sit with him,noticing how Rileys stomach growled. "Addictions.Something...interesting in the human categories." he said simply,licking his fangs and trying to stop himself from remembering the sweet taste of Riley's blood,how nice it felt running down his throat,how satisfying it felt to have on his tongue. Dang it.It's better than clementine(<^---- a dragon poison).

"Yeah. That's one way to put it." Riley nods. "What do you think the food here is made out of? Sawdust, cement, and oats?" He jokes, not really wanting to think about what it was made out of, but he couldn't resist joking about it.

Shade's mouth twitched into the faintest smile. "Don't know what those are,but okay."

Rhia sleeps surprisingly well.
