The serum merely just sizzled into steam on contact with his inner plasma. He seemed uneffected by its contents, just wincing momentarily in pain as a bit of black ooze ran down from the injection site from the watery presence.
Doubled down in his fury, he pulled his claws from her side and gripped at the woman's throat, a bit of electricity hissing and crackling off the sides of his metal-masked face.
"What was that again about the devil? Go on, I want to hear you gloat again."
Scias growled as his eyes burned into her, as cold and ruthless as death themselves. He clearly had none of the reservations he had about killing her earlier left.

Saras
Saras had woken a little earlier, and finally caught up.
"So, looks like the rumors were true. Some bounty hunters have turned into simple hitmen. Can't say I'm impressed."

On hearing Saras' voice, Scias dropped the woman, stepping back to glance at Saras.
"Seems so. Annoying ones at that."
He turned back to face the woman with a huff of electric.

"If you put any value your life, you will leave. Now."

Saras
"Actually, there's a bounty on her. And it doesn't matter if she's dead or alive; the bounty's the same."

Zethrin had no time to react. Everything jad happened so quickly. She felt herself get a little light headed. Not here, not now, She told herself. If Zethrin was honest, she had no sense of self worth.

" you are right," she chuckled, "I am pretty annoying, which beggs the question. Why are you both here." Scias, you could have run for, the start. We both know you are fast enough, and most likely capable of over taking me, but you decided to stay. Why is that?" She asked as she pushed herself up, ripping off her sleeves and tying them around her side as best she could.

She thought to the bounty that was suposedly on her, probably set by some coward of the humans race. What a worthless bunch.

" what now outlaw? Try to kill me? Make me join you? Maybe I convince you to join me? Do I kill you?" She questioned, arming herself with various weapons once more. Her injuries slowed her, but they certainly did not imobalize her.

Saras
"I heard your spiel earlier about how you're the best bounty hunters the exterminators have. Well, I'm the best there is. How do you think I afford repairs to expensive gear like this? I'm the one hired to capture or kill rogue bounty hunters. I'm the one hired for high-value targets that are more valuable alive. And I'll have you know that you're messing with my partner."

"Join you, with the army? After what they've done? Hah. Don't make me laugh. They're the last people I want to ever take orders from once again. I don't care who my quotas come from as long as I get the chance to put a gun on someone."
Scias brushed himself off, straightening himself back into a bipedal position as he towered over the two.

"And let's just say I don't like to kill anyone without reason. I'm not getting paid for all the bullets I could ever waste on you. You seemed capable enough to put up a decent fight, so maybe I'll have the chance some other day.. That is, if Saras even decides to let an army dog like you sulk off in the first place. He's a hell of a lot more unforgiving."

"Your partner here were not mentioned in my list of possible additional hits. I have never failed a client and I don't intend for this to be my first failure. I don't particularly like my current employer, but hey, money is money. I don't kill without reason, I kill to live." She had made sure that her defenses we as good as she could get them, and that all the weapons on hand were ready to fire.

"And one of the most relentless Exterminators you will every meet."

She wasn't doing this for her pride, not even for the money at this point. She could also have escaped on various occasions. She was the type of person to act in her own self interest. At the moment, she was interested. She was quiet random, even crazy as Scias and Saras were probably figuring out.


"Here is my plasma gun...My burst rifle....I'll keep my pistol...I'm keeping my favorite dagger, but here is my other one....A couple grenades...My self-tightening hand cuffs...Ohhh, don't spray this, It might make you die.....Andddd, that's it I think." She stated casually as she threw each item into a pile as described. She, as promised, only kept her dagger and pistol on her person. She picked up her hand cuffs, and walked over to Scias and Saras, almost completely defenseless, having only hand cuffs on hand.

Saras
"Why is it always the crazy ones," Saras mumbles quietly into his mask.
"Now, what are you doing right now? Trying to get me to bring you in still armed?"

Scias was confused by this, not sure if she was surrendering or throwing herself to fate, but it almost seemed insulting to kill her now. He looked down at the pile briefly before he returned his attention on her.
"What if you found yourself a new employer? If you want, I could even fake my death for you to get to keep your record." He added, a bit half-joking. He did intend to clear his name after all. His job would be very difficult otherwise.
