Douglas quickly and careful cut into Selkie's shoulder where the arrow was, "That should help get the arrow out Kaladin."

Kaladin quickly but carefully removed the arrow. He inhaled sharply once he noticed the shape of the arrowhead.

Douglas forced himself to look at the arrow, "In my bag there is a small vile containing a green paste please give it to me."

Kaladin set the arrow aside and dug through Douglas' bag, passing the small bottle to him.

Douglas poured a little from the bottle onto Selkie's wound and smeared it around the wound, "Numbing agent and it also helps prevent infection. Kaladin can you please bandage Selkie?"
