Haken nodded once. "I can get branches. Do you have anything for lashing the together?"

"A bit of twine," Douglas held it out to Haken, "there's more on the ship if I need to go get it."


Kai cocks her head, Who were you talking to?

Haken studied it, then shook his head. "Not enough time, but vines could suffice."

"I'm not sure." Kaladin repeated.

Okay well what were they asking, Kai asks.


Douglas nods once and starts tying the branches that Haken brought together.

"He mentioned that Douglas and father might be in danger..." Kaladin spoke.

Haken returned to watch, nocking an arrow of his own onto his bow.

Than we have to help them, Kai got up.

Douglas quickly bon the branches together, "It's ready. Selkie you are going to be moved onto the stretcher okay."
Selkie nods slightly again.

"No, I'll go." Kaladin said, kindly but firmly. "You're in no condition to be going very far right now."

Haken cast the two a brief glance. "Need help?"

"Yes please," Douglas answers, "Selkie's too heavy for me to get him the stretcher alone."



Kai lays back down, Be careful.

Haken nodded and put his bow away to assist.

"I will." Kaladin spoke before running off.

"On three," Douglas gently grabbed Selkie's legs, "One, two, three lift."
Selkie groans as he's moved.



Kai gets up and follows all while thinking, I'm not letting you get hurt out there.
