Douglas checks the arrow and pales when he sees it is marked with Black Beard's signature.


A grey wolf with blue eyes looks at Kaladin and waves for him to come over.

Haken glanced over at Douglas. "What's wrong?"

Kaladin glanced over at the wolf, then pet Kai. "I'll be right back." He told here before approaching the wolf.

Kai opens her eyes then yawns, Where are you going?

The wolf walks to where Haken, Douglas, and Selkie are then vanishes.


"I've seen this arrow before. Fourteen years ago," Douglas replies.

"That's a bad thing, then?" Haken asked.

"Yes," Douglas answers.

"Please your friend and father need your help," The wolf told Kaladin before disappearing.

Kaladin frowned, then went back to Kai. "You stay here. I need to tend to a few things..."
