"Yes! Agrees!" She said,not to loudly but threw her wings up a bit to emphasize her words.

Kate laughed, so relieved. D could be so cute sometimes without even knowing it

D smiled brightly,fangs and all,and folded her lavender and cream white wings again.

Kate waited impatiently for the clock to turn to six. Once it did, she yelped for joy. "We're free!"

D nodded,giggling happily. "Free....free." She repeated,smiling at the word. It was the word that had meant hope to her for years.

Kate realized that 'free' probably had a different meaning to D than to her. She almost said 'I'm sorry' but she held her tongue

She walked in a circle for a moment,then settled to stand still.

She stared at the clock, willing the numbers to change

She hopped to the door on the left and smiled as nothing could be seen or heard,and same with the right side.

Soon, the clock turned to signal the end of their shift. "Oh hallelujah! Let's get out of here before the animatronics trap us in here..."
