"Because you are a guardian and it is no facade," Black Beard spoke.



"Selkie is not my concern the crew and the mobians in the village are," Skipper argued.
Douglas had followed, "Let me help then."
"Fine you're better on land anyway," Skipper went back to his ship.
"Locke mind searching around please," Douglas looks around sniffs the air, "blood. This way." He walks toward the forest.

Edmund squawked an insult at Skipper.
Locke nodded once and looked around.

Skipper didn't seem to hear.
Douglas eventually found a broken bow and the pirate in the snare trap but no sign of Selkie, "Pirate here."

Locke walked over to him and gazed at the pirate. "Dead?" He asked Douglas.

Amory huffed. "The Pearl of the Sea is a relic that was lost to time, said to grant the holder exceptional control of water. As for the Water Guardians.... I think you're confused. My line has nothing to do with those indivuals. They're more of a rare occurance than anything. Esentially, they are strong enough to overpower the Pearl, and thus serve as a 'counter-balance' to it, if you will."

Once he was done, he wrapped it up with an abrupt "Go back to where you came from. And if you tell anybody anything about this meeting, I'll hunt you down and most likely slaughter you."

"You have my word," Black Beard put the water back in the sea and left.


"Not quiet," Douglas examines the pirate, "just barely alive though." Douglas gently sets his bag down and gets to work, "Locke help me get him out of the trap please.''

Locke set to loosening the ropes. "These beasties sure know how ta keep folks outta thier bussiness...." He muttered.

Amory barred his fangs and snarled. "He truly is an idiot." He grumbled once the badger was well out of earshot.
Bheka padded over to Amory and glanced up at him.
"Yes, I know. I don't like it either. Great power, yet not after the Seven."
Bheka blinked.
"I agree. We'll need to keep tabs on him in the future."

Black Beard slunk toward his ship.



"Yes they do," Douglas agrees as he treats the pirate, "Locke try to find Selkie's trail?"

(No, no I did not. Too early for Amory to do that.)

Locke rose to his feet and tested the air. "...Got 'im." He mumbled.

Kai wags her tail, I'm just glad my brother is alive.
