"My turn," Lyra said. She formed a torch flame on the tip of a finger, and began cutting into the scientist's cheeks.

Night backed up, and began spitting out bones.

Cat bounced over and began playing with them, making Night laugh.

The scientist's cheeks were entirely missing. Lyra began burning at his sides. He was looking crazed, afraid.

Cat bounced over, watching.

Thomas looked over at Nya.

Nya grabbed the man's balls, and said, "Tell us what you know, or your crown jewels disappear."

Night growled.

Scientist
The scientist trembled, and said, "The Man paid me to get unique animals for him. He wants to build an army."
