For a long moment, everything is too blurry to be comprehensible.
When his vision clears, he's in the sand. There's quite a few dark rocks around him. He can feel that hes splayed out, and there's grains of the sand in his mouth, nose, and eyes.
Most noticeably, though, he can see his arms. Except they aren't his arms. They're scrawny, dark-skinned human arms with calloused hands and long, dainty fingers.

"Hey, are you okay?" He hears someone come over. The language isn't one he's ever heard before, but... he understands it anyways. Out of the corner of his vision, he sees a hand offering to help him up.
