"Ever thought of just runnin' for once in your life?" X shook his head at Corasi.
"I swear you all just go lookin' to have a bad time."
He seemed less than surprised at the human's behavior, but didn't have the heart to tell her her idea didn't make any sense. Most of them were well known to the army by now, only an idiot would confuse the for a group of Exterminators.

The core glowed slightly brighter at the sound of her voice as it emitted a course of crackling sparks and Scias slowly reformed to his humanoid form. He looked still dazed, patches of his metallic skin torched over in a silver hue from his electricity having gone wild in the blast.
"..Wh..at.. What now?"
He grumbled out at Corasi, hopping down from the dragon.

"Exterminators. Such fun..." she said in a heavily sarcastic tone. "At least you're awake now."

".. Barely." He had to steady himself with his tail to keep from falling over. "No thanks to Saras. Could have killed me." He spat, shoving him off the back of the dragon.

"Do you even know what sarcasm is? Anyway, I'm glad you're alive. I couldn't tell while I was carrying you out of the lab."

"I know what sarcasm is. I just don't find it funny." He huffed out a breath of crackling sparks.
"I got very lucky. Usually those things are strong enough to wipe us right out. X probably got up faster than me since he still has his armor that's shielded against that crap, but all mine's still stuck with Sanmon.. Probably reverse engineered it by now."

"Well, you can have this. Not like I can shoot." She handed him the rifle.

Scias took the rifle from her, clicking it into his empty rifle holster.
"Hope you're not still counting on me to protect you. Just can't seem to get away from that job. Probably going to have to make you start paying me."

"Oh come on. I can take care of myself, clearly. Oh wait, you didn't see me practically sacrifice my life for you all, because you were unconscious. I escaped a holding cell, with no help, while they were trying to gas me." She looked around for something to defend herself. She spotted a dagger on the ground. Well that shouldn't be there, but I can use it. She picked it up.

"Cool. Guess I don't have to feel bad then."
He gave her a wave and took off, leaving X to just sigh in exasperation.

"Don't think he even knows where he's goin', but not tryin' to chase him down either. Thanks for the help. If you all every need any more info off me, just give me a ring. Be pretty useless to you all with my eyes still buggin' up, but I can still do this much."
He handed Corasi a shiny, hi-tech looking brace marked with red runes on its underside. It looked like some sort of compact, radio communication device.

"Thanks." She took it gratefully. "I swear when I see him again I'll kill him." she whispered.
