She shook her head and lifted her hair from around her neck,pulling the braid to the side and revealing a dark mark going all the way around. It was dark,a dark bruise,and it was at least two inches thick top to bottom. Small scars showing that the inside of the metal cuff had had spikes that wounded her when she moved against it.

"Ran...multiple tries,for years. About 7 if I remember. Finally,though.Finally made it.Now here." She said,giving a smile though she winced as Kate touched it. It wasn't that it hurt but that it was a reflex.

D sighed and gently took Kate's hand and put it gently back to the marking. "Don't be...really. It's...okay. Doesn't hurt."

She twisted her head to the side to look at the door and then the left one as well. She was still paying attention to the situation at hand.The mark stretched in an odd way a bit as she moved her neck and seemingly bounced up and down as she swallowed.
