He tilts his head and Shade and Fatespeaker come over to sheild the prince just in cas,Shade checking his wound with a soft wind like whimpering. "Eeee~?"
Jason forced the rose like thorns to thrust out and stab at the attackers from the tendrils. He used a thornless one to gingerly take the staff and had Fatespeaker pull it close, her ragged ice wings around the prince and her talons offering the scepter to him.

Sage smiled and took the scepter. "Thank you." Tertius snarled something, louder, and another wave of Iron Fey advanced into the room. Sage quickly put the scepter back where it belonged before fighting along side his wolf

Shade(Jr. XD) and Fatespeaker leaped up as well, both baring icey fangs and lashing out as well, fighting by his side. Jason stamped a foot and a spiked tendril wrapped around his mouth. "I'm tired of hearing you.Bye bye." He said, grinning as he stabbed the spikes into his throat and forcing the tendril down and into him,the spikes bursting in length as it went down. (He's hurting the T dude.Just so that it's not all mixed up. XD)

He thrashed before finally being still. Sage was still locked in battle with the assassins. The wolf thrashed on the ground in a pool of blood, and Sage's breaths came in ragged gasps as he fought on with the dragons.

As Sage cut viciously at one of the Iron fey, he didn't see one of them looming behind him until the it was right there. Aware of the danger, at last, Sage whirled, swinging his sword, cutting at its head. The creature knocked the blade aside and, as Sage staggered back, took one step forward and plunged his own sword through the Winter prince's chest.

"Dang it." Jason hissed, dropping the body and jumping at the Prince's attacker, landing hard on his back and locking his arms under it's. He flapped, hard, and lifted him up,smashing his stinger and tail through it's chest and out the other side, narrowly missing his own chest. He dropped the body and rushed to help Sage, the two ice creatures coming and making sure to keep the iron fey at bay away from the two.

The iron fey quickly scattered, but something was missing...The Scepter of Seasons. Well, crap. On top of all of that, there was blood pooling from Sage's chest and streaming onto the ice. The assassins gathered what was left of their brothers, leaving no evidence behind. The Iron fey scrambled to do just that, lifting the dead faeries onto their shoulders. They even grabbed the pieces off the floor.

The way they took up the left overs of their fellows sorta bothered Jason but he was more focused on trying to help Sage. "No no no no,come on. Dang it,sire. Please, hold on. I'll fix it,I swear." He said, rapidly yanking scales off and this time the white tendril markings swirled around his now glowing eyes as he tried to fix it. He put a hand to the wound and used soft light to begin to heal and mend the wound. He winced, feeling a drain from his dragon half of his soul, but he didn't care. He worked as fast as he could,Shade gurgling and prancing around frantically as he looked for the scepter. Fatespeaker held the prince gently in her deadly claws to help Jason. "Rrrrr~?"

"Don't," Sage breathed, weakly grabbing Jason's wrists. "Don't," he repeated, weaker this time. Blood flecked the walls and pooled along the floor, horribly vivid against the pale ice. The altar that had held the Scepter of the Seasons lay empty and bare. Sage lay on his back, his sword a few inches from his hand, gazing up at the ceiling, gasping. A few feet away, the furry body of the wolf, gray fur streaked with blood, lay crumpled on the ice. The wolf was part of Sage, if the wolf died, so did Sage.

"Shade, wolf now!" He growled to the frantic ice dragon, and he bobbed a nod to Jason and dashed over. He wrapped his wings around the wolf and gently opened his jaws by the wound. He let soft ice gently form to stop the bleeding. Jason grit his teeth and flicked a hand to send some tendrils to help. They slithered over and gently began to seep in and fix things. "I'm so sorry,I should be the one hurt not you. Please, just hold one,I swear, and dragons hold to their word.Please.Hold on.I'll fix it."

Before the wolf was fully healed, a shudder went through the prince's body. His head arched back, mouth gaping, and ice crawled up from his lips, spreading over his face, down his chest, and all the way to his feet. He stiffened as the air chilled around him, the ice making sharp crinkling sounds as it encased the prince in a crystal cocoon.
