The man gently taps Cricket's front right leg then gently tries to lift it up. Adrien laughs, "He's trying to get me to do what he's doing to you."

"Pfft. I doubt you'll do it anyways."
Cricket takes his weight off the leg so the man can demonstrate on him.

The man gently lifts up Cricket's leg and checks it for injury before doing the same to Adrien. Adrien protests but the man refuses to give up. After a while the man goes and gets a bucket with water in it to clean Adrien's leg. It takes about ten painful minutes the man gets Adrien's wounded leg clean. Turning back to Cricket the man offers Cricket a treat as Adrien had refused it.

A few of the other horses keep an eye out while some of the younger ones play nearby.

They shouldn't play when they're having a long journey ahead of them. But then Glory remembered when she herself was much younger and how her mother would urge her to be less uptight and enjoy her foalhood while she could. So she didn't say anything about it. Besides, she wasn't their mother.

Cricket gratefully accepts the treat and nudges the man.
"The treats are good you know."

The older horses in the group watch the younger ones as they continue on.
'Save your energy," One mare cautions, "otherwise you won't be able to keep up."
Some of the younger horses listen while others don't.

The man rubs Cricket's muzzle murmmering softly.
Adrien snorts not wanting to believe him, "You're turning into a creature I don't recognize."

Glory continued to go on and glanced at the sky to see what time it is.

The time is around noon. The sun is at its highest point in the sky.
