Tom says, "Pyra? What's wrong,"

Then he hears her sniffing.

Tom moves towards Pyra and hugs her.

She quickly pushed him away. *please, dont touch me!* she said before wincing and looking away. *i... I guess I should tell you about my past.*

Tom nods his head a little hurt and says, "Alright,"

*so, my family was very strict about me. I came from an upper class family based on old society. I needed to dress prim and proper, often in lace dresses and underwear (and I was allergic to lace, it gave me rashes). I never got to have fun. I was forced to basically sit still and look pretty. They also drilled into me to never play with myself or have sex until Im married. Then, they said I was to be married at the age of 16 to a wealthy slob of a man whos 40. My parents only did it so they could get some of my husbands money. I ran away right before the wedding, changed my clothes into the one you saw me in, and stowed away on a boat. Turns out, that boat was going here. What I said before about it being my birthday? That was a total lie. Now, my parents are likely looking for me as we speak. But I never want to go back. Ever.*

Tom nods and says, "That is a lot and wrong of your family to make you do that,"

She nodded. *I guess they drilled some things into me, though.*

Tom says, "And what is that?"
