Glory says her farewells before travelling to the next nearest herd and lets the group rest and forage for food after an hour of traveling.

During that brief break the group discovers a tuff of bear fur. A sure sign that the bears are up and awake.

"Let us not dawdle with bears around," Glory said. She chose the eldest of the herd they were heading towards lead the rest of the way.

The eldest of the group walks besides Glory, "I hope we can avoid the bears now that they're waking up."

"I hope so as well," Glory says. She keeps on sharp alert as she walks.

The group moves for a while before the scent of bear returns.

Glory becomes more tense and tries to figure out if the scent is recent or not.

The scent is recent as are the newly discovered bear tracks.
One of the group members finds a way to possibally avoid the bear by avoiding the berry bushes and streams.

"Good thinking," Glory says to the member who found the way. Glory continues walking along with the group but tries to be aware of any berry bushes and streams that they'll need to avoid.

The mare nods once, "I've learned to avoid bears so we have to be careful and warn if anyone sees a bear." A few of the other horses keep an eye out while some of the younger ones play nearby.
