Minutes later, the tundering sound of a horse in full gallop sounded from behind Night.

Night kept up his fast pace going south through the forests and taking a short cut across otter territory.

Collin kept Noble at a steady trot behind him.

Night was able to keep the pace up until they got to a sector of woods that had Sunburst's hoof prints.
"Here is where the trap will take place," Night panted, "good luck."

Collin looked at Night. "'Good Luck'? Are you leaving?"

"Catching my breath," Night spoke.

There was the sound of fighting close by.


"What do you suggest we do now," Selkie asks.

Collin gently tapped Noble's side, steering him towards the comotion.

"Maybe check on Douglas." Kaladin suggested. "You and Locke could probabaly go to the shore, though."

"Okay then let's go," Selkie spoke.
Want me to come with, Kai asks Kaladin.


Night caught his breath and ran with them.

Locke chuckled. "Aye, Laddie."
Kaladin inclined his head. "If you want to."

Collin stopped Noble behind some dense foliage before walking the rest of the way.

Night darted into the fray daggers out and a blur of knives and pain.

Kai starts walking toward Douglas's room.
