Subuki looks over to where she had pointed. "Is. . .is she okay?"
Sibnele coughs. Latan goes to slap his back, but freezes when Sibnele gives him a death glare. "Don't."
Latan puts his hands up and steps back. "Hey, I wasn't going to, bud. Still don't have the Devil-quality immune system?" He clams up as the outline of a scythe fades in Sibnele's hand.

A tendril drifts from the main bunch. Forming a sharp point, it stabs at the shield experimentally.
"Ha," Sibnele says, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You know, maybe she just wanted to be alone. I do, being around you guys all day."
Latan frowns. "That doesn't seem very funny. She might be in trouble."
Subuki looks confused. "Where is Iskren? Has he gone with her?"

luca woke up "Ugh," she shot a major magic blast at sibnele.

The amalgam of tendrils shoot in front of the blast, taking a majority of the shot. Regardless, a good chunk of energy still manages to get through. It hits Sibnele in the chest.
Sibnele's eyes widen as he gets thrown backwards, hitting a tree some distance away from the group. He slumps to the ground, his wings barely sustaining.
Subuki whips her sight at Luca, and back to Sibnele. She doesn't seem to know what to do.
Latan, without seeming to know it happening, bursts into a small spat of flame, which soon flickers away.
Haran and Pixie are motionless, looking at Luca with frightened eyes.

Subuki walks up to Luca and taps her shoulder gently. "Luca. . .?"
Latan books it down to where Sibnele is unconscious. "Oh, come on," he whispers, seeing dark blood against the tree. "HEY, KIDS!" he yells. "YOU MORTALS CAN GET CONCUSSIONS, RIGHT?"
Haran and Pixie nod silently, in shock.
Iskren is still doing nothing.
