The dogs were of different breeds, sizes, strength, speeds, and stamina. A boarder collie nips at Cricket's heels as he runs away.

The wind picks up deep in the mountains. A challenging rings out from higher up the mountain.

There is a small cave nearby and a corpse of trees and brush. A small overhang also was nearby.

Cricket gets up and stands over various pebbles bouncing to the thunder of hooves. He stepped out of the cave and examined the area he stayed the previous night.
