The mint was strong and covered the scent.
"Smells like it." Luna said.

Scout nodded in agreement. "Yeah." Electra came out of the mint and shook her mane. "So, teach me your ways."

"How about a friendly competeion?" Luna looked at Scout and Electra.

"Yeah, I'm all in." Scout said almost immediately. Electra said, "Sure, but I'm not too fast."

"This way you can get faster then." Luna nodded and walked them to a small meadow, "From one side to the other?"

"You're on," Scout said, pawing at the grass.

Electra nodded. "Sure."

"Ready, Set Go!" Luna took off at a controled canter.

Scout took off at a full gallop.

Electra started off, but she wasn't all that fast. She was a dressage horse, not a racing horse.

Luna had her parents' speed but she didn't use all of it in one burst instead she saved her strength for the end.

Scout had quite a bit of stamina, but he figured he would let someone else win. He started to slow down, pretending to run out of stamina.
