She looked up from her phone as someone walked out of the elevator. "Oh, look who it is." She rolled her eyes at her agent- Marina Smith, a tall, well dressed woman in her early thirties. "You're late. And your assistant wouldn't even let me wait on your floor."

Marina frowned. "Is the boy here yet?"

"Who?" Kestrel wondered. "The one I'm supposed to tour with? No, not yet. God, can't people ever be on time for once in their lives?"

He stopped the truck, parked it and sprinted into the building. He rushed to the elevator. He pressed the button a million times. "Come on, come on!"

"Who's that idiot?" Kestrel asked lazily, pointing to the guy who had just sprinted in. "Dude, the receptionist is going to be mad. It'll be hilarious."

Marina rubbed her temples and rolled her eyes. "Miss Sterling, that's who you're supposed to meet. I'll go get him." She walked over to the young man and tapped his shoulder.

He turned. "Yes?"

"You're here to meet Miss Sterling, correct? I'm her agent. Marina Smith." The woman said with a scowl. "She's been complaining that you're late. I apologize for her behavior."

"Why the hell are you taking so long?" Kestrel shouted across the room. Marina frowned.

"Let's go. We have the trailers for the crew and for the singers too. I assume you have your bags? We'll have practices as well, but the drives are long so you two can work together then. For now, you can go over and meet Miss Sterling."

"Yes ma'am." He said. "I'm sorry I'm late..."

"It's alright. Now hurry up, we're behind schedule and we need to get on the road. You and Miss Kestrel will have your own trailers, but the crew will have to share, and..." she checked her watch. "Yes. We must hurry. Someone else will take your bags."

"Okay. Lead the way."

Kestrel walked over, her eyes narrowed. "What's taking so lon- oh my God." She froze. "It's you! Oh my goodness it's actually you-" she burst into laughter. Marina raised an eyebrow. Kestrel continued to speak through giggles. "Hey Hearst. Nice meeting you again."
