"Her name is Mag." Erlen answered. The la escape around him turned to a dusk color, as the wraith appeared beside him. Again no one could see this change save for him. "She's my eyes when I need them." The elf answered before glancing over at the kingly yet nonetheless ghostly elf standing next to him.
'Am I not your eyes as well?' Rirosson asked.
"Not the point, she can at least leave my side unlike you." Erlen said as if he was holding a conversation with himself. With that he turned back to the girl. "You did say you could speak with animals no? How is that?" Kasa said nothing, to her it was obvious that this girl was like them. Her animals like instincts could feel that much. It was a slight sense but not ignorable.

Her eyes now narrowed after the woman's strange question, but she still spoke as they seemed kind enough not to hurt her. "The Blood Fever," she whispered, tilting her head up so her oddly colored eyes were completely visible. "The Blood Fever gave me the ability and two marks." Her left eye, which had originally been blue like the other, had changed. Her hair had been colored with sapphire blue streaks that shone only in bright lights.

"So you are like us...my eye was render blind by the fever." The male elf said leaving out the part about dying and finding the wraith. "And my friend here, here eyes changed colors as well as shape."
"My senses are also more acute now. I can smell a single drop of blood up to ten feet from the spot it fell." Kasa nearly bragged before crossing her arms over her chest.
'It's foolish to speak of this aloud.' The wraith said yet Erlen simply ignored his comment.

She let out a relieved breath. "Impressive," she said to the woman. "I prefer to keep it a secret, as most people prefer to kill malfettos on sight. I can both speak to the animals and control them if I wish." She reached down and pet the stray dog's head. "They follow me sometimes around the marketplace and my reputation of Stealing with their help has earned me the name Star Thief in this area."

Sage nodded tho the girl. "Be careful," he said as his shadow returned to him. He turned his gaze to the one who had created the mist. "I'm known as the Shadowmaster." He gestured at the shadows still swaYing menacingly around the other. They quickly went away. "I haven't met any other Malfettos, so you'll have to excuse my behavior." He turned his head again tho fix his good eye on Kami.

Skye looked around the town square, she was hidden in an alley with her new mask on. She carefully took it off and used a loose cord hanging from her belt to tie it there. She flipped off her cloak's hood and walked out of the alley with a look of confidence and snottiness. She tried to hide her limp as best as she could, but she didn't know if anyone would notice or not. The way everyone in her family acted, but this was just an act for her. As she walked through the square she picked up a few things being sold, like a oddly flawless and red apple, a small bottle of jack for her father, and a small pendant for herself. And now she was broke. She gave a sigh and started off towards her families big house.

"It's kinda hard to keep Kass a secret, she tends to want to be know though-"
"I can hold my own." The girl interrupted for a moment, clearly on edge. Her eyes were narrowed, and body language much like a wild dog that had been cornered. "They call me The White Wolf, and Erlen is just Ranger."

"My name is Rae," she said, her eyes flickering over each of their faces. "It is nice to meet you, Kass, Erlen." She didn't use the other names in case someone was watching or even possibly listening. "And you as well, Mag."

'I get no introduction?' The elf king asked looking to Erlen. 'Hardly a way to treat one that saved you life.' Erlen simply rolled his eyes.
"Could we go somewhere a bit more private? I get the feeling there are eyes of ill intent watching us." Erlen said glancing around a bit.
"How about lunch? I hear there's a nice place just down the road." Kasa pipped in.
