She flew to town with a armfull of posters. She then went from door to door asking if that the dragonet on the poster was theirs. She then came upon Shifts house without realizing it and knocked on the door.

Shift heard Mom and Dad's thoughts, they were soft though, must be still sleeping. Then he heard a knock on the door, and hurried there to open. "Yes?" Then he gasped in surprise. "Oh hi!"

(Why does it seem we're the only ones here now?)

She smiled "oh hi, I'm just on door to door duty" she pulled out one of the posters "do you know this dragonet?" The picture was a small Sandwing with larger black eyes and a jagged scar on his neck.

Shift scratched his head. "i dont think i know him. i think i saw him somewhere, but im not very sure. Who is he?" He asked

She sighed "we don't know, I found him in an ally way, alone I'm now trying to find his parents or his family" she put the poster away.

"Ah." Shift nodded, then looked back in, "Oh, my parents are waking up. Maybe they might know." Shift walked in and yelled, "Dad do you know this dragonnet?" He hustled Dad to the door and motioned for Sandstorm to hold up the poster.

She handed it to him, smileing

Dad took it and looked over it. Shift heard his mind, I think i saw him somewhere...right! Dad handed the poster back. "I'm pretty sure i saw him around the north part of the Scorpion den. I had wondered why he had a scar though."

She nodded "well if you find his parents, send them to the palace" she then heard wing beats behind her. She looked back to see Lizard flying towards her. He landed and gasped for breath "Dar-dragon *gasps* dragon bite viper, seen near the pool" he was shaking. Sandstorm nodded "ill deal with it" she then turned back to Shift and his dad "you two, stay in your house until further notice." She then turned to the direction of the pool and took off, Lizard right behind her.

Dragonbite viper! in the pool?! what about them?! Shift heard his dad think. He was thinking the same thing too, and nodded vigorously.
