(Should Karlynn and Austin meet in their tent?)

Karlynn spotted a boy near the Tent assignments. The red-haired teen walked over, smiling widely. "Hey! Do you have any idea where Tent B is? I'm supposed to be assigned there."

Austin turned, then smiled. He seemed intimidating. "Oh, tent B? Well, guess what tent I'm in!" He sounded kind though, and sounded like a big brother would sound like.

"What the heck is wrong with you!" Axel cried.
"Everything sweet heart. There's your lesson for calling me Maxwel." Max shivered as he said Maxwell. Clearly there was history behind that.

She raised an eyebrow, her wings fluttering behind her. He seems nice... kinda cute too. "Really? That's cool. I'm Karlynn. Phoenix hybrid, before you ask." She glanced at the board with the tent assignments then back at him. "I was just going to go see the tent."

"Well, what's wrong with us heading there together? I'll even let you choose where you want to sleep first." Austin smiled, and such a heart warming smile it was. Austin led the way to the tent. "So where ya from?" He asked kindly. "Also, opinion on water?"

Karlynn

"Oh, me?" She smiled. He is nice. Let's hope it stays that way... "I never really stayed in on specific place. I kinda... um, I lived with a group of others. Like us. And when I found out about this place, I told them to come but they didn't want to. They thought they were better off 'fending for themselves' instead of 'acting weak'." Karlynn shook her head.

"Well, safety in numbers. That's what I say anyway. Also, do you die? Or do you just get reborn?" Austin asked curiously. He paused then said, "I know I can die. I mean, both lions and humans die, so I'm sure I do."

Karlynn

She chuckled, kicking a rock as they walked. "I haven't tried dying before, believe me. I'm sure I'd get reborn, but probably as a regular human being with no memory of being a phoenix in my last life." She wasn't sure if she was joking or not. "If you don't mind me asking... what's your hybrid?"
