(But how. you have to decide what to do. Be creative! In another game i had before, someone had to wrap an injury in seaweed to save a sea otter. Another time they had to wrap up a wolf's paw in a leaf after pouring fresh water over the wound. You have to look around, and use what you have. Sometimes it can come from your bag too, like when someone needed to cut a vine once. They used their knife. Much easier than a sharp rock.
You are in a big field. What could be helpful around here? Grass? Leaves from a bush? Flowers? Rocks? Water? Food? Dirt? Roots? Do you have anything on your bag that could help?)

It all shows up at once.
You are horrified at the scene before you, speechless even.
A much larger version of the tiny Nogar is lying dead on the ground, it's fur burning. 4 other little Nogars are also dead, scattered around the clearing, and some are ripped apart. One appears to be breathing, but you can't tell from all the smoke and burning bodies. A large den in near the large one, and smoke is billowing from there too. Moss and leaves have been thrown out the entrance and shredded, while trees have been smashed down.
You can't think of anything for a full 10 seconds other than: What could have done this? What would have done this?
Suddenly you notice a large shape moving. It looks very different from the green fur covered Nogars. It has fire flaring from it's nose, and teeth coated in blood. It is grinning at the sight before it (although it does not notice you), and a large paw is placed on the big dead Nogar, claws digging into the skin. It's hide is red, and the thing that officially marks it, is It's scales.
Nogars never have scales, unless they are water Nogars, in which case they sometimes have fish scales.
Dragons always have scales. This is a dragon.

You can't start with additional weapons. You start with 1 weapon (not an additional) and start in a map of your choice, but is has to be be of the first 5. You can get additional weapons by finding them, or purchasing them in town. On rare occasions you gan get them other ways too.
And yes, you can have a long sword.

I immediately hide behind something downwind of the dragon. Had the dragon done this on purpose? I knew dragons weren't the cold-blooded killers in stories... Maybe this dragon had a reason to kill so many nogars. I watch the dragon from behind whatever I'm hiding behind.

(Actually, they kinda are. Like have you read the hobbit? Smaug is pretty cold. That's how dragons are supposed to be. Evil.
Smaug description:
Personality. Smaug is portrayed as being psychopathic, extremely sadistic, confident, violent, cruel, arrogant, intelligent and greedy, possessing an unquenchable desire for gold.
Quote: "Revenge! Revenge! King under the Mountain is dead and where are his kin that dare seek revenge? Girion Lord of Dale is dead, and I have eaten his people like a wolf among sheep, and where are his sons' sons that dare approach me? I kill where I wish and none dare resist. I laid low the warriors of old and their like is not in the world today. Then I was but young and tender. Now I am old and strong, strong, strong, theif in the shadows!"
So yeah, pretty evil, right? However the reason people make stories where they are not like this is because we admire them. They are mythical creatures, very majestic, powerful, brave, and are the cause of much excitement. They can fly, which is something most of us want to experience, and they are large enough to ride. They breath fire, (or other breath weapons) which is really cool, as well as a great weapon and tool. Plus, being mystical, most flaws can be solved by simply saying: magic. They are great characters to write about.
Anyway, this dragon definitely did it on purpose, and enjoyed the whole process.)
The dragon bends it's neck down and snatches a few gems and gold pieces from the ground before heading into the den, probably to gather more riches. As he disappears, you see a movement on the far side of the clearing. It's your Nogar friend! He has snuck out of your bag and has gone (limping) over to inspect the little Nogar you saw possibly moving earlier!

Sketched
(From now on quote my posts)
You wake up in the middle of a forest. You have no idea how you got there, or where you are. Sunlight flitters overhead, and you stand up. Some memories come back as you do so, and you can tell dragons and nogars fill these lands. You look around. The first step is to get back to town.
You can go North, East, South or West. Each post you must say the direction you want to walk.

You head North to avoid splashing through the water. The thick trees block your view from the river for the most part, but you can still see it flowing past if you look carefully. It would seem that the river continues East.
