"Thank you." Eko bowed.

I gave up. The cat and the demon were too busy. I headed out of the town again, ready to go home. Nobody noticed. Eventually, it was dark enough for me to remove the blindfold, and I walked a long way to a ledge that jutted out to sea. I raised my top arms straight up, making my inner ones go out, and I jumped off. Despite being aquatic creatures, I found a way to glide very short distances. while I fell slowly, I angled myself so that I turned around, and landed in a small hole in the side of the cliff. I folded my arms in and crawled a ways before coming to my home, a vast cavern full of water.

There were suddenly an explosion far away from the town, and the air had whisps of cold and toxicity.

"What was it now?" Ako sighed

She hopped up onto the roof and stared into the darkness, then let out a cry of horror.
"ITS A LINGERER!!!!"

I poked my head out of my cave, hearing shouts from the direction of the town. I held back; it was so bright, so populated. But, then I thought a bit. there were children. I hopped out of the cliffside and into the water, swimming as fast as possible with my arms. It was a lingerer. I shook cold water from my hair. I was running all over the place today. Shink! I pulled out all four daggers at once. Then I watched from behind one of the rocks along the beach. The light might blind me. But people could be hurt...

Theres a loud, thundering roar before something HUGE flew by the town, in the shape of a wyrm.

"...We need to get going. Now. LIKE, NOW."

Ako nodded.

Moon looked around. "Ya... I'm not going to investigate any more noises... not worth my time." She mumbled and continued walking about aimlessly.

I saw the dark shape fly by, and gritted my sharp teeth. I had to kill it now. I ran to the town and stabbed my daggers into the wall of a very tall building. Then I stabbed the other two in and pulled out the lower ones. Once I reached the top I scanned the area.
