"I guess that s true, but I wonder who Starlight's real family is?" I wonder out loud.

*Amber Storm*

I glance around to make sure no one was listening before leaning close to her.

"Rumor has it that Cyrus is actually his real father. Apparently some female dragon had a secret love for Cyrus and somehow managed to get close enough to the point of laying an egg. She was horrified and hoped to keep her love secret so she fled the kingdom. The egg hatched all alone but Nightfang, who had recently fled the kingdom himself, took in the young dragon and named him Starlight. As far as Starlight is concerned Nightfang is his dad, but Cyrus wants the hatchling for his own since Starlight really HIS son. I didn't believe it myself until recently, but then I heard him muttering to himself about it" I whisper to her.

"Hmm, I understand why Cyrus would want his son back, it's only a matter of time until we have our own eggs, and, well, hopefully I won't die any time soon" I say, tapping the ground nervously.

I smile to myself knowing that the dragon was able to escape the claw of the king. Yes i was wory for the new queen but as long that she keep a low profile for some time there would probably not be killed. As i was turning back at my post i humm a soft song.

"I'm coming with you it's my fault he escaped so I will catch him" I say as I take off after Cyrus. I use my hot mist to gain altitude and then I dive down to gain speed soon I'm flying as fast as Cyrus as we head for Nightfang's cave

*Amber Storm*

"Basically Cyrus abandoned his child and now he wants it back" I shrug.

*Cyrus*

Fueled with rage, I ignore the fact the Misty is coming as well.
We finally land at the entrance to the cave, my flames not so hot they scorch the ground and plants around us. I roar loudly, calling Nightfang to come out and fight me.
He comes soon, and we begin to battle, wrecking the terrain around us as we claw and snap at each other, our flames leaping so we seem to be engulfed in blue fire.
Soon I manage to pin him and I hold him down, barely letting him breathe.

I sigh again "I suppose that's just the way it is... well, as long as he hasn't hurt any of his children... yet" I say, slightly relieved

*Amber Storm*

"I don't think he believes in harming children, manipulating the I suppose but not harming them. He saves his harming for the adults" I smile with a bit of dark humor. "Anyways, he values his kids, and doesn't harm hatchlings to my knowledge" I promise.

"Well, that's a relief" I say "so, do you have any requests of who you want to sit next to during the wedding?" I ask Amber Storm.
