"No. There ma-" The door burst open as 2 zombie came in, going straight for Omid. "Omid! Watch out~" She grabbed her pickax and hit one into a wall. Jo turned to the next one and stabbed it in its cheek. The other one was geting up now, so Amelia got out her bow and shot it in the head quickly.

Paralyzed with fear Omid couldn't move until he was covered in ash. She had saved him yet again...and for that he had nothing in return. "T-thank you." He meerly whispered. At times he wished he wasn't so weak, this leg wasn't helping either. He wished he could hold his own, that he could even have helped his friends. He was just a weakling that always got pushed around. He was good for nothing.

Amelia nodded in return. She walked over to the door where Pam and Zac were staying, How much longer is this going to be? She knocked on the door,"Pam? Zac? You guys okay?" she asked. Jo peeked into the room, seeing what they were doing.

"We're fine." Zac said from inside the room. Pam was asleep on the bed, head in Zac's lap almost like a child would sleep in a parents lap. "She didn't want to fall asleep unless I was here to make sure nothing happened." Zac admitted. "Sometimes I feel as though I'm a father taking scare of a daughter...."

Amelia looked at Zac, then to Pam, then back again. "So, shes asleep now, you can come out now, right?" was that a hint of jealousy in her voice? She looked back to see if Omid was okay, god what if he did something wrong right when she turned her back.


(When i first read it, I though Zac said, "I think that im a father." and i was like, what the crap 030)

(That would be strange. Though I made it where they aren't too far apart in age in case they ended up liking each other. Really though I think of him more as her father than anything.)

"I suppose." Zac sighed rolling Pam off of him gently. He hated having to leave her, after all she was almost as afraid as the others were. "How's Omid?"
His leg felt as if it was on fire, though it was nothing compared to the fire that raged on inside his heart. He knew these two dead...they were part of his group. He could have saved them...he should have done something!

"I think he's good, other than the zombies that just busted in. He's covered in ash.." Amelia led Zac out of Pam's room shut and locked the door, and went to lay on her cot. She pulled out her small sleeping bag, laid it across her cot, then sat on it.

"Have you two eaten? It's not everyday you get a cooked meal." Zac said trying to stay positive. Even through the darkest of days light always for away to shine through. "You'll need your strength to be able to walk to the bus tomorrow. It all the way across the city."

"Yes, I ate. I saved you a plate." She crossed her legs, waiting for something bad to happen again. Jo scooted up to the opening of the sleeping bag and slipped in. "Should I take first watch..?"

"No I got it. I slept last night. My turn either way tonight." Zac smiled taking a plate. "Besides I'm going to be up for a bit anyways, got to get the stuff packed away."
