"But then I'd still have the advantage in the air, yes? You can't beat me, I have practice being a dog, you don't, face the facts," he sneered.

Feather tapped her head,"Hmm...I got it! They use it to grip the ground when they're running! It helps them run faster!"

"You don't understand, this croc mouth is only the outside, the inside my bear mouth is and it would be hard to reach it before i snag your neck," he said simply.

"You underestimate me wolf." Molly growled closing her eyes trying to sleep. "I'll kill you yet just watch."

"Maybe. They feel so light when I run." Meko said standing. "It's like I could run forever."

"That's if you can get past the quills on my neck." Smith said showing the bear. "It would be pretty painful to bite me."

"No, you underestimate me sand it will not be you killing me, it will be me killing you," he said flying up one more time to finally reach the branch.

"That probably has to do with your seal part because cheetahs can't run for too long."

"You still don't understand, the croc shell on the inside won't hurt me because my real jaw is pretty far back. I can snap your neck with the croc teeth, see now?"

"Will see about that." Molly said falling asleep. She dreamed of her fight with the wolf, of the pain it would bring her yet in the end it would be her that won and not him.

"I hope they can run for a long time, I don't think I can survive with all these predators if not." Meko said worried. "I hope we don't have to fight...I'm not a fighter."

"Even crocs have to think about eating a porcupine. Have you ever seen a crocodile eat one? Me neither, I'm sure there's a reason why. You also forget that I'm part deer, I can easily out run you." Smith said looking at the bear. "But let's not fight this out now, save it for later. Right now I just won't to get to know you guys."

Hmm, he drank some water than thought, I think i will try hanging upside-down he positioned his legs and hung while folding his wings around his body, it felt good and quickly fell asleep and dreamed of defeating the sheep dog, maybe they could be friends, someday.

"Well, I'm sure you can fight, we just need time to practice, that's all," she said reassuringly.

"Well my name is Razor, the wolf bat is Nightstalker, and the bird lion is Feather, I'll let the rest introduce themselves," he said before settling down on his mat.

Molly tossed in her sleep as the dream changed. The wolf was there, though he wasn't attacking her, he was waiting for her to catch up. She padded after him as he led them to his den. Here she was greeted as one of them, because the wolf said so. The pack was her family and they treated her no different than their family.

"What can I do besides run? I have teeth ment for biting into prey, not predators." Meko sighed. "I'm as good as dead here."

"I'm Smith." The deer said shaking his coat causing the quills to rattle together. "I was a Chinese water deer."

Frost snarled viciously before falling asleep. She woke up a little while later she stood up groggily feeling weighed down by something. She didn't see any pale things so she tried to shake herself off. When she shook something white flashed in the corner of her eye Pale thing! she thought angrily as she snapped at it. Suddenly pain shot up something what is this I've never been hurt there before! she thought surprised as she cranes her neck backwards and saw two beautiful white wings. On the top of the bony parts were small white hairs and on the tip of the wing was a long white, claw. She looked at the leathery white wings startled. She tried miving them but they flapped around wildly because she had never tried before. She let out a bark of alarm. And frantically howled her song hoping the night wolf would hear

In his dream the sheepdog was there welcomed with open arms, she was now a dog, related to wolves and she was part of a pack.

"Then use them for predators! Come on you can run fast! You won't die here! I won't let you!"

"Never heard of them, but ok. I wonder when we get to eat. I'm starved."

Nightstalker woke suddenly hearing the pearl wolf,"Pearl wolf!" He howled as he fluttered down.

The human raised his hands in submission before muddling her and collaring her. He took a leash and attached it before putting her on the ground. "Come on let's go see the others."

Molly bolted awake growling at the thought of being around so many wolves at once. She grumbled to her else of as she stood and padded over to the water. It was hard to drink with this new muzzle, the tongue wanted to flop out when she went to drink causing the water to get all slobbery.

"Have you seen some of these predators? How am I to defeat them?" Meko sighed and went back to the water. "I wonder why there aren't any fish in this water."

"I could eat." Smith said sniffing around for food.
