Rei sat with her knees bent and her arms wrapped loosely around them. She grinned up at Glen. "Good job. That last gap was a big one." She closed her eyes and lay on her back, a smile on her face and her arms stretched above her head. "That was fun. So, what do you do?" she asked, opening one red eye and peering at him.

"What do you mean?" Glen asked as he laid down next to her. "If you mean a job, then I work as a YouTube gamer. I post videos online about me playing games. You could say I play video games for a living."

Rei nodded. "Cool. I work at I'm Not a Morning Person on Main Street," she said with a grin. She sighed and checked the time on her phone, her eyes widening in surprise. "Jeez, it's almost Midnight." She sat up and ran her fingers through her wavy red hair. She looked over at him and a small smile twitched her lips.

" I need to get home." Glen said standing. He looked down into the street seeing a pile of freshly raked leaves. "See you then." He smiled jumping off the roof and landing in the leaves. 'Leap of Faith! So cool!'

Rei shook her head in amusement the followed him down, landing in a crouch on the street. She shoved her hands in her pockets then pulled out a piece of paper. She wrote her number on it and held it out to him between two fingers. "Here, text me if you ever wanna hang out. Maybe I can teach you some moves too," she said with a wink.

Glen hopped from the leaves. "Cool! Maybe we can film it and put it on YouTube!" He took the paper. "I look forward to to seeing you again."

Rei nodded. "Me too." She smiled and waved then turned and walked away down the dark, spotlighted street, her hood up and her hands in her pockets. 'Well that was fun,' she thought with a grin.

Glen watched her leave before walking home with a stupid smile on his face.

Rei entered her apartment building and walked up the stairs to the apartment she shared with Jax. She went in and was surprised to see him asleep on the couch with his arms around the wolf girl that he helped out before. She smiled and crept to her room, changing into pajama shorts and an oversize t-shirt and brushing her teeth before falling into bed and slipping into sleep.

Ghost nuzzled into his chest, feeling safe and proteccted fpr the first time in her life. She closed her eyes and slowly let her body fall into the darkness of sleep.
