Shane~

I growl at the creature that had whacked Nicole with the weed. It must be the kelpie, since pretty much no other large animal would hang out in the swamp that's intelligent enough to spy on someone. Except me, of course. It's glowing red eyes should be terrifying, but I am not afraid of it. I step in front of Nicole, putting a barrier in between her and the kelpie, because in case it attacks, I should be fast enough to knock it out before it does any damage. I don't know if Nicole has any fighting skills.

Nant stepped out from behind the tree. She eyed the wolves cautiously, her ears flat back, not knowing if they were hostile. Curling back her lips slightly to show her large fangs, she pounded the ground with her hoof to show that she would attack if nessecary.

Nicole snarled slightly, but because it was not a vamp she did not worry much." Who are you?"

I eye the kelpie that had come from behind the tree. Definitely a girl. I was wondering who she was as well. I don't want to come off as hostile, so I flick my ears and sit down.

Nant relaxed slightly when the male wolf sat down. She eyed the female carefuly as she spoke, "I'm Nant. Nant Anghenfil. Who are you?" She turned towards the male, keeping an eye on the female, "You smell familiar, you have been to my swamp before, am I correct?"

"I'm Shane." I say. "Actually, this particular clearing is my part of the swamp. I go here nearly every day." I register that the kelpie might not like having a werewolf neighbor, so I hastily added in, "Of course, the rest of the swamp is yours." As I look at the kelpie, I realize that something smells off about her. She smells almost... human. "You're a shifter, too, aren't you?" (are human-creatures in general called shifters? I think they should be :p)

(Yeah I think they are)

She sat and curled her tail to her side " I am nicole... sorry to snap at you like that."

"I do not mind sharing my swamp, however it is all mine -I live here. And yes I am a shifter." Nant replied curtly.

Watching the shifters carefully my eyes narrowed. All hers? Sure, well, I guess she doesn't know about us then. We live her to, and if my leader Letrin wanted to, he would probably drive her out and kill her. But the Nightlings want to stay hidden, if we kill her, we likely won't completely get away with it. Wrapping my black cloak around me tighter I stayed hidden in the shadows. (Please don't notice her yet)
