Zac looked at Magic. "Wow, you really havent been on the streets that long have you?" Zac shook his head "I'm Zac," he said turning to Arrow, "sorry about before but i have reason to be careful." Zac looked into the shadows as if trying to see something. "I'm guessing you're all hungery, wont be a minute." Zac lifted his nose, sniffed, and ran off.

There was a loud crash and a snuffiling sound. Zac trotted back into the plane. He was carrying a flat box which he dropped on the floor. "Clearly someone doesn't like pepperoni." He flicked open the lid to reveal a half eaten pizza. He grinned and grabbed a peice which he took over to a corner where he lay down, "dig in- but if you don't share I'll rip your throut out." He said only half joking.

Arrow bounced excitedly as his nose filled with the delicious smell of pepperoni, then he remembered his manners, "Thanks, Zachary." Arrow took a piece and padded away from the group and chewed on it, savouring the taste. When he finished he sat up straight and began licking himself clean, today he had gotten muddy, and his kids weren't here to bathe him.. Will he ever see them again? Arrow's brow furrowed (idk he's just thinking) and he began to look at his paws. Deep thought time!

Zac growled at Arrow. "Don't you dare call me that, no one but- my name is Zac ok, nothing else." He turned back to his pizza

Magic looked at the pizza with a mixture of curiosity and resentment. He looked away from it to acknowledge what Zac had said about him not being on the streets long, "I prefer to not get attached to a place, there is no telling what may happen to force me out. Thank you for finding food." He looked back at the pizza, and halfheartedly took the smallest piece he saw, not wanting to be rude, but also not feeling very hungry. After eating it, he spoke again, in a lighter tone than usual, "On the topic of home, I used to live with humans, and they traveled a lot. the reasons I am no longer with them are my own, and it was no fault of theirs that I am on the streets now."

Arrow flinched when Zac* (lol autocorrect) growled at him. He looked over innocently at Zac and leapt back onto the dumpster silently. Still not saying a word he curled up. Arrow knew he had touched a tender spot in Zac, the way he had got angry, and decided not to say anything else. He listened to the others talk and slowly drifted off. Perhaps when he wakes up his family will come find him...

Zac sighed. He hadnt ment to scare the nixi. He'd been axty all day. First from traveling and also from... He just needed a good sleep- then he'd be fine.

Arrow dreamed of playing tug-o-war with his girl kid. That had been fun until one day he clamped on so hard he bit it in half. Arrow wished Mom and Dad hadn't thrown that toy out, it was good to chew on. The dream changed to Arrow walking beside the river by their house alongside his boy kid. They had caught many coons down here, it was even fun to chase them through the river.. Arrow dreamed happily, reliving memories until he had a night mare. The family had sold all Arrow's litter mates, so it was just him and Tikki, his birther. One day, the kids were playing near the road when the boy threw the ball across the road.. The girl kid ran to go get the ball right on the street but Tikki dove just in time to throw the child to the side, but Tikki got hit. Arrow ran to her side, he was still a pup at the time and yipped at her but she wasn't answering..

Arrow jerked awake. The moon was high and bright so Arrow decided to take a walk, calm his nerves. Quietly he padded away from the group. Being quiet was like his speciality or something. Almost like he could control his weight. ;) ;) Arrow stopped and looked both ways before he crossed the street, the city was always loud, night and day. He heard paws behind and stopped, "Hello" (anyone can take that spot)

Zac looked at Arrow. "I'm sorry for growling at you earlier. I shouldn't have," he sighed, "no one has called me that in years..." He got lost in thought. "I want to make it up to you. You don't have a place right? How about you come stay with me, I'll train you up in the ways of the street so you'd survive on your own if you want." Zac looked at Arrow, his eyes seemed hopeful, but behind that they were overflowing with sorrow. "Oh, and kid... that was quite stealthy back there, well done..." Zac seemed slightly distdant, but contiued to look at Arrow.

Arrow perked his ears, interested. Maybe his family wouldn't come back but he can have new friends. Arrow didn't want to push anything on Zac so simply "Thanks," he piped up, actually excited. Arrow was always eager to learn. He knew how to hunt prairie chickens and raccoons, now was his chance to learn how to hunt pizza.. Mmmmmh pizza, unintentionally Arrow's tail began to wag.
