Chace Forrest
Chace rallied zir troops and doubled zir defenses around areas where innocent inhabitants lived. Ze checked on zir forces and examined zir land, only getting about a tenth of the way through zir plans when ze spotted Aspen entering zir Forest. Ze marches up to Aspen, slowly letting down zir guard when ze gets closer and no NewBorn was in sight.
Chace doesn't blame Aspen for what Tara had done and held the tiniest grudge against her for voting to not killing Tara and then extracting some sort of vengeance against the one who slayed her loved one since what Aspen had done is probably what ze would be doing in the Guardian's shoes. Chace still approaches Aspen with caution and a cold front just the same. Zir gun is by zir side, not ready to be used, but zir posture is defensive. Ze smiles when ze recognizes zir actions as similar to those of Davon when they had met earlier. Ze decides that Aspen has to have been through a lot since she isn't traveling in her cart/carriage that you mentioned earlier and for that reason becomes a bit more friendly and understanding.
"Ho there." Ze calls a nuetral greeting to Aspen, waving a hand in case ze had not been spotted yet. "What brings you to my Forest?" Ze tries zir best to be as friendly as the situation calls for but not too amicable and have this all seem like some sort of act. It was an act, though, because on the inside Chace was still hurting from Flynn's passing and was wanting to get back to zir troops and fight alongside them.

Theresa "Thera" Collins
Thera keeps an eye on her troops as they gather their strength again and prepare for another assault on the Forests Guardian. Hopefully this time they would actually get close to the Guardian before they had to use their guns and give away their location again. Thera wanted their next battle to start with the end of the Guardian Chace of the Ancient Beech Forest.

Experiment #60960 "Ambrose"
Ambrose watched the Guardians interaction, wondering what in the world could have caused the two to be wary of each other. Hadn't the Guardians won the war? Hadn't they helped each other protect their forests? Hadn't the Guardians have everything they could ever wish for?
When NewBorn was brought up and the Guardian of Ophil Forest had reacted the way he had with the other apparently non-hostile NewBorn, Ambrose began to back away slowly once more. It didn't want to end up being the crocodiles next snack.

As aspen approaches the forest she notices Chance's kind tone towards her." I need help as no doubt you have noticed there is a war and the humans have invaded everyone of the gaurdians!..I know you might not trust me or you might be scepticle of me but i promise im not intrested in any funny bussiness. Please I need you and the other gaurdians it's getting out of hand" she hoped desperatly that Chance would trust her " im only here to help and prove myself worthy of your trust"

He highly doubted her capacity to get out on her own but chose to let it go so that she could preserve whatever was left of her pride, opting to finish draging her out quietly. Only once they were out of the quicksand did he spoke again, freeing her cloaths from his fangs as he did. " The Ophil forest is a fortress of it's own and my clan is ready to put it's claws, fangs and poison to good use to reenforce those defences. I dont know what your plan is but mine is to take full adventage of the asset we have." He was probably the sturdiest of the guardians with his thick scales and hide and knew he could go back once more to the front ligne but being looked at with fear and treated like his kind were monster for their look by the very people he would protect was not somthing he could tolerate again.

As he spoke, he noticed a movement in the bushes and hissed, warning what ever it was that it had been repered. From experience very few animals of this size ever ventured that far and most of those would have avoided any area with a very present smell of predators. At this point it was a simple process of elimination for him to finaly come to the conclusion that whatever it was had most likely a tie to what was happening.

Chace Forrest
"I know." Chace says softly. "You're not Tara and haven't betrayed us... I'm sorry for your loss." Ze looks tired as ze leans back against a tree and stares up at the sky. Chace eyes Aspen after a moment's contemplation.
"How do you plan to prove yourself worthy of my trust - and the other Guardians at that?" Ze asks, genuinely curious on what Aspen had in mind, not that ze feels as though Aspen needs to prove herself by doing anything more than not going to the humans and giving them information. Ze knows that ze is needed at zir Forest to protect it and Aspen is needed at hers to keep her Forest safe.

"thank you truly for not biting my head off" Aspen sits down after chace does " Thank you for not judging me on the past and im sorry as well for your loss i know it's hard" she look at chance willing to share her plan " I know it's not much but i want to help all the gaurdians with the war and protect the forest's i honestly can't find something will convince Adlin to trust me again Davon has cut himself off from everybody else and I have lost touch with everybody.. It's honestly lonely and im worried the others won't be so generous as youi hope can get them to trust me again" she starts to cry but then reminds herself she needs to pull it together she tries to stop trembling and force the tears back but it's hard and she finally just lets go.

She sat in the mud looking st the spot which summons up the rustling before going back to getting any dirt or moss that remained on her from the struggle off "I will be on my own in my own territory protecting there"she knew who would be after her but didn't know how well it would go. Minding the fact she had decided to remove the eye of the man that tested her patience and out of self defense it was best if she felt with her own problems on her own "and heads up that witch is heading your way, you can help her but I'm not" she said turning away from them and starting to head back out the forest to her own bundle of woods "and thank you" she had looked at the reptile with confusion but nothing less or more before nodding to the rest of them and leaving Ophil Forest by herself thinking of what she would do to help her defenses, caves yes but that makes her situation a bit worse since there's not many places to hide, her mind was lost in thought

Experiment #60960 "Ambrose"
Ambrose was debating between fleeing or exposing itself now that it was found. All the animals present would be faster than it was but it didn't want to stay where it was. But it didn't want to become the Guardian's next meal. It thought itself stupid and cursed its curiosity as it held up its hands and revealed itself slowly, hesitantly, knowing that even if it fled it would be caught. "I.. I'm sorry. I was just curious about the tigers. I don't mean any of you any harm." It says, lowering its gaze much like Adlin had earlier.


Chace Forrest
Chace nods zir head and uses good listening skills while Aspen talked. Once Aspen starts crying though, the conversation steps into territory that Chace is not familiar with and ze panicks slightly while Aspen cries. "Uh, don't worry. There, there." Chace leans forward and awkwardly pats Aspen's knee as ze tries to calm and comfort the other Guardian.
"It'll be alright. We'll win this just like we did last time." Ze pauses and pulls zir hand back. "Ok, well, maybe not just like last time since we're already using different tactics and going against a different human invention... But you get the idea. We'll survive whatever is thrown at us." Chace smiles at Aspen even as a part of zir whispers back, 'But surely not all of us are going to make it. Flynn is already gone. Tara died because of the first war. There will surely be more deaths to come.' Chace doesn't voice zir concerns out loud. Whatever bothered zir wasn't something the other Guardian needed to worry or ever know about.

At noticing chance's uncomfortable look she tries to hold back on the crying "I- thank you it means a lot and i'm willing to do whatever i can to win this war" Chace doesn't understand that she can tell what ze's thinking and fully understands that there are more deaths to come. "and hey i know whats going on and im really sorry but we have to continue no matter what"

He nodded slightly at the other guardian's words tho refused to acknowledge so mutch as the notion of the guardian of Brom Burg Forest. To him that one was nothing more then an ever growing list of issues with limbs, somthing he would not help as long as others choices would be avalable. " I see, well, Adlin... good luck." It was hard for him not to offer his protection to her but his stuborn nature won that battle as he looked the feline leave his forest for a moment.

It didnt lasted too long before his gaze went back to the suspicious spot, hardening at the sight of the strange creature that had now decided to show itself. The first thing he picked up from the hybrid was it's fear, an expression he despised to see on the faces of those he encountered no matter how usefull it could be during a war. With a slight sigh, he tryed to give the young man a chance, after all he may have been with the woman of earlyer. " Alright kid, if you want me to belive that you are going to tell me who you are and what you were doing in my forest. And dont even try lying to me."

Adlins snout dug into the dirt as her big body was tired, the struggling in the quicksand made her tired, actually took up most of her energy than anything. Approaching a rock that stuck out the ground and on the other side was a clearing that was covered in long tall grass that blew in the breeze easily "just a small nap wouldn't hurt" she said to herself softly, she was short on gaurds since the witch took most of them with her flirtatious attitude, there where rarely any places to hide, and with the knowledge she has she would be out numbered easily, running away was out of the picture, she preferred going down fighting, but she didn't know how much h she wanted to put her life in the hands of the others, the gaurdian of Ophil forest didn't murder her when he had the chance, and wanted to trust him but her nearly dying to the first time made her fear of trust. Instead she layed her head in the grass that towered over her and closed her eyes not really aware of her surroundings but didn't really care which was mindless but she was already thinking
