Sonic flashed a grin. "You get along well, don't you?"

Knuckles looked around. "Any ideas where we can find those guys?"

Zero leaned against a tree, one ear twitching. "Seeing as we have some time, why not exchange information?" He suggested.

"If you mean I get along well with Knuckles I feel gratful to him." Ajal said.


"You first." Nox spoke.


"No idea." Reaper admitted.

"Is that all?" Sonic asked.

Zero flicked a ear at a small insect. "What woulf you like to know?"

"Why Void hired you." Nox spoke.


"He helped me and I would gladly return the favor and he is a friend but I don't know if he conciders me one or not." Ajal admitted.

"You're the one who called me, remember?" Zero remarked. "The agreement was that I keep the blue hedgehogs out of her way. Which I have."

Sonic chuckled. "He probably does, but don't expect him to admit it out loud."

"Never expect anything except trouble." Ajal muttered.

"Oh yeah sorry about that." Nox apologized, "Your turn."

Sonic tilted his head and frowned. "Huh?"

Zero shrugged. "How did you find yourseld with Hagin?"

Cobalt laid flat on his back on the rough ground just outside Westopolis, bored. His employer had said to meet them here, but no one else had arrived.

Nox frowned, "My parents were murdered by the leader before Hagin and the leader took me because I was young and able to be trained while he killed my sibling."

"Just an old saying." Ajal muttered.
