Locke swished his tail. "Then tha best we can do is watch fer suspicious behavoir. Goin' places alone. Slipping past gaurds. Avoidin' folks. Anythin' tha' seems off. Maybe alert a few gaurds as well."

"As soon as we figure out which guards are truely on Luner's side," Selkie added.

"No. Not Lunar's." Locke said. "Opal's. Tha killers couldn't have predicted tha castle burning, an iffin there was ah new guard o' her's in tha' last two days, we woulda noticed."

"Point taken but what about before," Selkie asked.

"They wouldn't have known we were were comin' 'ere that night. It was ah last second idea Lunar had ta take us 'ere. Ye know how long it take ta prepare ah convincin' poser? A full day, at best, iffin yer lucky. Some soilder would noticed an' alerted Opal."

Selkie nods once, "True so let's go tell the guards."

Locke picked up the pace. "Aye. Let's move,"

Kai ran through the halls only to meet with a councilman, a rattle snake.

Kaladin set the quill aside. "Are we done for noelw, Douglas?" He asked.

Selkie moved as fast as he could run which was decent.

The rattle snake hissed, "Are you lost dog?"
Kai turned tail and ran.
