Val sighed, "Shadow just let her come." she said not in the mood for arguing.

"...." Shadow quietly unslung his rifle and began cleaning it. "... you have ten minutes to convince me."

Val glared at the hedgehog with a death glare, she pulled out her Cross-Wispon, "Let my mother come or so help me you will have a hole in your head." she snarled, her claws were out and ready to scratch his face off, Kit sighed, "Valery, if you put a hole in him you will be grounded." she threatened with a growl.

"I'm bulletproof." Shadow informed Val, still cleaning his gun and not even looking up.

Val folded her arms, "Your no fun." she huffed, Kit chuckled, but then looked at Shadow seriously, "I want to come to make sure my daughter is safe, I left her once, that isn't going to happen again."

"And?"

"And you are not going to stop me, even if you are bulletproof." Kit growled, Val smiled and hugged her mother, Kit smiled and hugged her daughter back.

"You could end up worse than Knuckles did. Are you ready to face that?" Shadow asked, finally looking up from his gun, though no real emotion came through his steady, cold gaze.

"If it means I'm protecting my daughter then yes." Kit said defiantly.

"...." Shadow reslung his rifle. "....Fine." He said with a nod. "You passed. You can come as long as you swear to work with us. It's dangerous as it is, and more people means more attention, especially if a somebody 'improvises' once too often. Understood?"
