The campus and town where your dorm was were both full of people enjoying their day off from classes, One boy in particular stood out as he jogged down the sidewalk talking to what looked to be his dog.

She noticed him jogging down the sidewalk. Being the cheerful and optimistic person she was, she smiled and waved at him. "Hello!", she exclaimed.
the dorm was quiet for the most part, but you kept feeling like you were being watched

He was playing on his phone, every once in a while sitting up to look around his room. He felt as though he was being watched, and he didn't like it.

as you walked down the street he pointed out different shops , a florist, bakery, grocery store, video game store, just about all you could think of

She jumped onto it, turning it into a liquid under her shoes,
Wish I could do solid to gas. Not strong enough yet
before jumping or walking off
